Hi Rob,

the so called Knitter switches are endless turnable and deliver 24 pulses / rev.
Have a look at http://knitter-switch.de
Select products > rotary switches > 7 > series MRP, that´s the switch type we are talking about here.

It´s a pitty you can´t get the PIC flashed.
If you like, I could offer you to ship that stuff to me and I´ll fix it for you.
Done it already with one of our simmer friend of this forum.
