wenn er cd's oder dvd's lesen kann, dann ist auch theoretisch ein firmware-update möglich!

das firmware-update wird als iso-image zu download angeboten -> diese iso-datei brennt man dann mit dem cd-brenn-programm seiner wahl auf eine cd-r -> die schiebt man dann in den player und dann sollte die update-prozedur gestartet werden!

Brenn und Update-Anleitung:

BURNING CD:
In attachments you will find some ISOs.
Open Nero and close the "New Compilation".
File > Open > select the ISO > Open.
Burn that ISO file with this settings: Disc At Once, Finalize CD. Write the CD at speed 4x.

UPGRADING:
1. Turn on the player, and open the disc tray.
2. Put the Firmware Update Disc on the tray, and close the tray.
3. A screen will be displayed inviting you to push the "play" button to start the update.
4. The player will load the data, and the tray will open again. Remove the Firmware Update Disc from the tray now. Leave the tray open. The update process will complete in few minutes.
5. Wait until the update process finishes and the DVD logo is shown on the screen.

Attention: DO NOT unplug the power cable or turn off the player during the update process.

die original-firmware für den gran prix dvd 604 kannst du dir hier herunterladen!

es gibt aber auch eine von mtz modifizierte firmware die mehr kann -> diese hier! (die ist zwar offiziell für den medion md80122, paßt aber auch für den gran prix 604!) -> ob die aber die probleme löst, ist eine andere frage!
außerdem funktioniert mit dieser modifizierten firmware der card-reader von dem player nicht mehr!!!

du mußt also selber entscheiden ob du es mit der modifizierten version probierst! (zur not kannst du ja wieder auf die original-firmware zurückwechseln)
