So, wie versprochen kommt hier die antwort von golding zwecks veränderung der HUD-farbe und intensität:

You need a utility called Gaumod98 by Chuck Dome.

Copy the relevant gauges to the folder you install gaumod98 in, this will
allow changes to be made to digital displays.

Also get gaubrzr10.zip, this is used for extracting gauge bitmaps, allowing
you to repaint them.

Hoffe, es funktioniert. Hab es selber noch nicht ausprobieren können.
