Sorry I write English (I read German without a problem but writing is something different).

All the "electronics" on the simkits site are about 10 - 20 times the money compared to an normal elctronic website licke kessler or reichelt.

Knobs: almost € 9.50 - less than 1 € elsewhere
Ribbonbable: almost € 10.0/m - about € 0,5 elsewhere

But I agree on the prices off their real products. Stef wrote about that also. I have a cnc and sometimes people ask me to make things for them. If I would ask 5 €/hr I would be a lot more expensive than the known manufacturers. This is a niche hobby, everything has to be done by hand and low volumes.

Lets only hope that this hobby will grow in the future (like train hobbyist) and prices will go down a bit.
