![]() Hi Norbert,
the overvoltage protector is a diode which will produce a shortage (0 ohms) as soon as the voltage exceeds 6,8V. Therefor the diode has to be operated in reverse mode, meaning the cathode (grey ring)has to be connected to + V. Hope this clarifies your question. BTW that´s a well made investment to protect all circuitry from overvoltage and should be inserted in any supply line within the cockpit. Best rgds Peter |
