Markus, thank you. I think my rusty Deutsch and your very OK english make us understand each other very well
I think when I tried we had to turn off the COM2 audio first, then turn on the com1 audio. It was strange indeed, they have made the logic a bit weird in FS. There is another similar issue by the way - turning off the alternator turns off also the master battery and you lose electric power - which shouldnt happen in a real plane either. Or maybe it was that turning off battery but leaving alternator on also cut off electric power - which is not the reality either. Cant remember for sure, but nevertheless it is acting strange.
Thank you for the comments. We have a team of maybe 4-5 people who have built this at our aviation club, so it is not just me, but we truly are very happy with the result. We are using the simkits CCU board for the instruments (fsbus doesnt do the fully-rotating servos, and since we purchased the instruments, the price of the CCU was reasonable considering there are good, working calibration tools etc - it was a time saver and made sense.
Radios however are with Fsbus, and we are just waiting for Dirk to implement the "when avionics has no electricity, the 7-segment displays turn blank" -feature so our radios turn "off" when electronics are switched off
I think we can do it with the future fsbus software which will include the programming logic. I think you might be able to do some hacks for the audio panel as well.
Now, as the last job there is the big thing of making everything start from the power button, and making it simple to shut the simulator off - a lot of the people are not good with computers, but they know how to fly, so we try to "hide the computer" from the simulator so they dont have to worry about that part.
