(Fortsetzung vom letzten Post)
6) One last point before I close this very long winded explaination (poor Cole has to rewrite this) [EDIT COLE: ich glaub es versteht eh jeder] ... many will question whether to purchase BEV is such a good idea with FS10 supposedly on the horizon (I don't expect to see FS10 until summer of 2006) ...my answer is this... if the changes to FS10 are so dramatic to render BEV textures un-usable, then the changes will be sever enough to render serveral addons unusable...and I doubt seriously that those who have such a large investment in their FS9 environment, on the average, are going to readily give that up. Oh...eventually we will, but not right away. To be quite honest with you, I believe that MS would be insane to ignore the huge marketing potential to their sales that 3rd party addons provide... by rendering what has been created totally useless. Sure, as developers, we may need to tweak this or tweak that in order to make our products compatible with the newer version of FS, and even if it means a total overhaul of the 3rd party product...including BEV...most developers will make that effort. As for BEV, I believe the future is sound...and if you decide to purchase a summer Volume now or later, or wait for your personal favorite areas and seasons to be developed, your investment will be sound. If and when updates are required in order to make BEV compatible with future releases of FS...they will be free of charge to all registered owners. It is for this very reason we've priced BEV the way we have. To exclude the idea of having BEV as a part of your FS world enviroment upgrade, simply because your favorite area or season may not be ready for several months or for fear of not being compatible with the future release of FS...well, all I can say is "Patience is a Virtue" and it will be well worth the wait!
