With the completely new structured framework inside Flight Simulator X, we are unable to convert our Flight Simulator 9 version over to FSX. Over a 7 month period we investigated several areas of incompatibility (with assistance from Microsoft). The main issue at this point in time is that FSX cannot cope with the volume of updates we issue to the fuel systems in order to model Concorde accurately. While Microsoft are aware of these issues, they have no short-term plans to address them and have suggested we develop a work around in the interim.

We considered a short-term, compromised, version that would run under FSX, however the performance was such that we concluded the current version under FS9 gives better results.

We are working on a completely new Concorde product designed specifically for FSX, which is in the early stages of design & development. Due to the requirement for us to now create our own simulator functions, external from FSX, we anticipate development to continue into 2008 before completion.

The team will also be using this time to develop other aspects of the package to exploit new hardware and software features for the Concorde.

Kurz: Eine FSX Version ist geplant, wird aber noch mindestens ein Jahr dauern.

Ein Grund mehr, noch für lange Zeit beim FS9 zu bleiben...

das zeigt aber auch auf, dass der FSX doch in seiner Struktur (Aufbau) sich grundsätzlich vom FS9 unterscheidet,
was ja einige leutz hier im Forum nicht wahr haben wollen.

Das dauert aber noch lange

Dann wird mein FSX ja noch sehr lange eine Zweitinstallation bleiben... Ohne meine heißgeliebte Concorde! Da braucht man noch einiges mehr an Know How und hat auch den gesamten Flug entwas zu tun... Wenn man überlegt, dass man in der Simulation alleine macht, was die da zu dritt gemacht haben!
