With the completely new structured framework inside Flight Simulator X, we are unable to convert our Flight Simulator 9 version over to FSX. Over a 7 month period we investigated several areas of incompatibility (with assistance from Microsoft). The main issue at this point in time is that FSX cannot cope with the volume of updates we issue to the fuel systems in order to model Concorde accurately. We considered a short-term, compromised, version that would run under FSX, however the performance was such that we concluded the current version under FS9 gives better results.

We are working on a completely new Concorde product designed specifically for FSX, which is in the early stages of design & development. Due to the requirement for us to now create our own simulator functions, external from FSX, we anticipate development to continue into 2008 before completion.

The team will also be using this time to develop other aspects of the package to exploit new hardware and software features for the Concorde.

Kurz: Eine FSX Version ist geplant, wird aber noch mindestens ein Jahr dauern.
