Frage Support Seagate? I kenn mi nimma aus!

Hi Leute!

Meine Seagate ist am eingehen. Nach einen Online-Test der Festplatte bei seagate.com und automatische Übermittlung der Seriennummer, Chargennummer etc. kommt man automatisch in den RMA Bereich

Ich habe dies brav ausgefüllt und am nächsten tag bekam ich folgende email zurück:

SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS


1. Remove all accessories and spare parts, and return ONLY the BARE DRIVE!

Seagate is not responsible for accessories. Accessories will not be returned. Do NOT send any accessories to Seagate, including, but not limited to:

- ADAPTERS - except these tape models requiring the external power supply to be returned with the drive. DO NOT RETURN THE AC POWER CABLE!

- DATA CARTRIDGES or other removable media

2. Use original packaging when possible.

- Enclose each drive in a SeaShell container or an ESD (electrostatic discharge) bag. If packaging more than one drive, use a separate container for each drive.

- Enclose the static-protected drive in 2-inch thick foam rubber in a corrugated box. Multiple drives in a single box must have foam rubber between each drive. DO NOT USE foam packing pellets, bubble wrap, or newspaper.

- Warranty is void if the SeaShield cover or top cover, or any seal or label is removed or damaged, if it is improperly packaged, or if the drive experiences shock in excess of its Gs rating. Find further packaging details at: www.seagate.com/support/service/packaging.html

3. You must pay shipping charges for all shipments from you to Seagate.

- Ship your drive(s)to Seagate using the carrier of your choice. Please use a method with ability to trace shipment. Seagate is not responsible for shipments for which the carrier cannot provide proof of delivery.

- If your product is under warranty, we will pay for shipment of repaired/replacement products from Seagate to you. You must pay all applicable duties and customs charges for shipments to and from Seagate.

- We may ship multiple units separately as replacement drives become available. To avoid any additional costs associated with multiple shipments, contact Seagate Customer Support with your RMA number and ask us to hold all your units for a single shipment to you.

- Seagate is not responsible for loss or damage during shipment. We suggest that you purchase freight insurance on your shipments.

- NO COLLECT SHIPMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED without prior authorization from Seagate. Shipments arriving at Seagate with charges due are subject to being returned (unrepaired) with all charges, including return expenses, due and payable by the originator.


REPLACEMENT PRODUCT NOTICE: Your original drive will NOT be returned to you.

- Replacement products are factory-repaired units.
- Replacements carry the greater of: original warranty balance or 90 days.
- Delivery is during normal business hours to the address you provided.
- You (or proxy) must SIGN delivery document at the time of delivery.
- Replacements will NOT be left without proper acceptance by signature.
- All data and software on your returned drive(s) will be lost.
- Replacement disc drives arrive low-level formatted.
- Any required data recovery service must be completed BEFORE shipping the drive(s) to Seagate for replacement.

Da mein Englisch nicht gerade das beste ich habe ich folgende Fragen:

Da dies alles noch in der Garantie ist, muss ich da den Transport nach Holland bezahlen?

Welchen Paketdienst soll ich verwenden?

Die original Verpackung (eine Art PVC Gehäuse) hab ich noch und diese werd ich in eine grössere Schachtel die ich mit Papier ausfülle geben.

Ich möcht da keine Fehler machen, also bitte um Hilfe
