FMS Display

Hi an die Community

Mir kam folgender Gedanke für ein eigens FMS...
Wie wird das Display dargestellt? Gibt es solche kleinen Bildschirme, die über eine weitere Grafikkarte angesteuert werden können, wie z.b. ein normaler TFT???
Die Tasten könnte man ja bedienen, aber eben der Bildschirm

Try as i did using the PSONE LCD you can find more info on my site or at www.flightdecksolutions.com (forum)

You can use it in 2 ways... direct via the TVout of your vga card or with some soldering and a program powerstrip direct connection to your VGA out..

I paid about 50 euro for it and it came out of germany :P so you have to see on ebay there i am sure you can find some and this is much cheaper than the small tv's or monitors that cost you arround 600 euro...

And would you like to give some advise or hints how to connect to my FS???
How do you get the FMS Display via the TVOut to the PSOne Display?
That looks like a miracle to me

Hi,

So far i know simply with a cable that you connect on one side to the psone and on the other side to your tv out of the vga. You also can find those cables on ebay i think they cost arround 5 euro.

I have made the vga solution with soldering but there are others that use the vga tv out option.

On the FDS site there is a lot of info about connecting it.

it could be some misunderstanding between you and Lukas.
You should mention that you are talking about the CDU of Flightdeck solutions connected to Project Magenta!
If I get Lukas right, I think he is talking about ANY FMS/CDU.

By the way, the solution with the PSone LCD would be my favorite solution if I´m going to buy the Flightdeck solution CDU.
By the way these LCD screens are much cheaper in ebay USA, I saw quite a number of them approx 30-40,-USD.
The disadvantage is that the majority would not been shipped to Europe, but if you would have a friend over there he could manage to send it.

WATCH OUT with the USA versions they are based on NTSC systems and in europa we use PAL! This is only possible i think when you have a vga cart with TVout that also can work with NTCS but not all do and only have PAL. Just pay attention to it.

I have no idea what he ask... german i cant understand that all so i hope he will be so kind to put it also in english and maybe i can help him as well.

You will have a lot of pleasure when your going to order the cdu by FDS.. i have 2 of them and they work fantastic
