heute komme ich mal mit keinem neuen Problem an sondern mit einer Neuigkeit:

American gaming magazine PC Gamer has written about the next Flight Simulator version in its latest issue. The new 11th version of the simulator will be titled as Flight Simulator X.

According to the article the new simulator version will have huge graphical differences over FS2004. 'FS X is designed to take full advantage of the gaming enhancements made possible by the upcoming Windows Vista, including DirectX 10. This means the planes you'll pilot will feature realistic lighting effects on reflective paint, glass, and chrome, including enhanced shading on every element, right down to the rivets.', reports the article.

FS X will include also new weather system, 5.1 surround sound system, 24 000 airports and AI-controlled ground traffic such as fuel trucks and baggage carts. New aircraft in the fleet are DG 808S glider, de Havilland Beaver, Grumman Goose, B737-800 and Airbus A321!

There have been lots of false rumours around about this next simulator version, but the information given by PC Gamer seem to be accurate, although nothing has been yet officially confirmed by Microsoft. PC Gamer also mentions the release date as 'February 2006', but according to our knowledge, this is highly unlikely - as the release would be only two months away.
