WideFS Problem

Hi Dirk,

This sound like a network problem even if you mention it isnt. I think you have to do a couple of things to trace your problem.

First.. update all drivers of your comps special the networkcard drivers.

second... see if you run all comps on xp and update them.

Check virusscanners and make sure you dont have any virus on your comp that could delay or disconnect the connection.

Than see what is mention in your wideclient log files.. make sure you have the wideserver and wideclient of the same version.

Try to start with 1 comp to connect to the FS and see by what comp the problem is going to start with the counting up the numbers. In that way you maybe can trace the problem one.

running it via tcp/ip?

(the counting up in your fs screen means that it everytime disconnect and reconnect again caused by a network delay problem)
