![]() Hallo,
Happy landings Arry |

![]() levelD only have at this moment the option to be used on 1 computer and maybe setup on more monitors..
PM runs on different computers in a network that makes the preformance of your FS much higher. Of course this is something of a personal choise and everyone is free ro dicide what they prefer better. Also Level D is very hard to program when you want to use hardware components.. some functions are possible but it doesnt work that easy as with the offsets like P. Dawson provide but who knows what the future will bring ![]() gr. Frans M

![]() Hallo Frans,
ok, wenn man die Software auf verschiedenen Computern einsetzen will. Die Panel-Monitore habe ich alle am Server angeschlossen. Damit funktioniert alles wunderbar. Happy landings Arry |

![]() That assum could be possible but so far i understand you still only controle all your things with a mouse... and is it not possible in a simple way to get a real hardware component working beside the basic FS functions...
But if it works cool ![]() gr. Frans M

![]() not true. The Level-D 767 is fully interfacable. Overhead, FMC/CDU, pedestal, etc can all be controlled by hardware.
There is a dutch builder that wrote complete configuration files for the Level-D and IOcards from opencockpits. Add 2 dual head graphic cards to your computer undock your screens and you have a perfect sim running on 1 pc. If you build a 767 there is no need for Project Magenta. Stef

![]() I know Stef,
It is only not that simple to program it like a interface click and go... already have done a small study on it. Just wonder... if you do it the way you mention with 2 x dual head.. will it remind his settings of the screens or you need to setup each time your screens and drag them to the right screen when you start the sim again. gr. ![]() It is just as easy as any other solution. Everything works! switches, annunciators, etc. No need for key2lan or similar programs. Plus that logics for the 767 in the levelD are much better than PM and yes it remembers the screens.
PMDG remembers the screens too, you just cant interface the pmdg. Except for the Engravity CDU (which has customized pmdg drivers) and two MCP's I suggest that people interested in interfacing the levelD go check Nico Kaan's excellent website. He has writen the program FSConv which is a levelD to FSUIPC converter which enables the use of ANY FSUIPC capable interface card. Next to that he has made extensive SIOC ini files for iocards covering mcp, cdu, pedestal, etc. FSCONV 5.00 offers you access to almost every switch and/or light in the Level-D Cockpit, a mile stone in home flight deck building! take a look here: http://home.planet.nl/~nwkaan/ A must see website for any levelD flyer and cockpitbuilder ! ![]() just forgot:
when you want click and go as Frans (a highly appreciated airbus builder ![]() Go to flightdecktechnology. Their latest software for their boards has support for the LevelD software too ! It cannot get any easier than that. Check flightdecktechnology at: www.flightdecktechnology.com Stef
