Hallo,

Kann mir jemand bitte die Links zu den Patches geben
(bei Justflight finde ich leider nix...).

Hallo alle zusammen,

wird bei dem Patch eigentlich eine Version von FSUIPC mitgeliefert oder muß man sich selber darum kümmern.

Dort gibt es aber nicht die Patches 1 und 2 für die Boxed version. Dazu musst du dich, wie ich auf Seite 3 schonmal beschrieben hab, bei Justflight registrieren. Dann findest du die Patches auch.

Der FS2004 Patch ist, wie du schon sagst, zur Zeit nur direkt bei phoenix mit registrierung. Ist aber auch eine Sache von einer Minute...

@Olaf Eine FSUIPC wird nicht mitgeliefert. Eine bezahlte version ist aber trotzdem nicht nötig. Ich empfehle die version 3.03. Mit den neueren Versionen gibt es Probleme in Verbindung mit dem PSS.

Hallo nochmal,

also, irgendwas ist doch bei mir voll in die Hose gegangen, wollte eben mal den Tipps aus dem PSS Forum nachgehen und die aircraft.cfg's bearbeiten (Eintrag reverser_available=1.000000), da fällt mir auf, daß es solch einen Eintrag in der cfg des A321 gar nicht gibt. Im Prinzip fehlt hier ein kompletter Teil, alles was unter "Weight & Balance" stehen sollte (wie bei der cfg des A319/320) ist weg.
Wäre eventuell jemand so nett und könnte mir mal seine A321 aircraft.cfg schicken oder hier als Anhang reinstellen? (vorrausgesetzt in dieser cfg steht alles drin

)

Edit: Ich sehe gerade, daß eine Kopie meiner FS2002 A321 aicraft.cfg genauso aussieht, muß also wohl so sein

)

Du mußt die A321 einmal aufrufen. Den Rest (also die fehlenden Einträge) erledigt der FS9.

Ja, den Eindruck könnte man wohl jetzt bekommen, aber ich hatte die aircraft.cfg's, glaube ich, gleich nach der Installation des A320 weggesichert.

Any file editing is done at your own risk! Back up your stuff, and if you are not familier with editing files, it's probably best to wait.

Best Practices
* I'd strongly recommend reinstalling from the auto-installers. Yeah, a full reinstall is a pain if you are on a dial-up, but it insures you have the latest files and that the old ones are overwritten or erased. Old files have been known to create black borders on the windscreen and around the panels.

* Watch your FSUIPC! The fresh installs may (and probably will) overwrite your newer FSUIPC with an older 2.xx edition. You should download the latest version from Pete Dowson and have it on file. Bad FSUIPC's will lead to blacked out displays.

* Torque Gauge - No fix yet. PSS investigating.
* Black Borders - Be sure to remove ALL the old files that may still be there from a FS2002 install, and reinstall from the auto-installer. This seems to work for most people.

Airbus A319/320/321

* Flickering Mouse and Slow Panel Performance - Forum participant Bruce set up the following code to be entered on a Airbus panel file!

File: fsroot\aircraft\pssab-pro\panel\panel.cfg
Scroll down to the Window8 section, and make it look like this...

(Window8) <--square brackets
Background_color=0,0,0
size_mm=0,0
position=0,0,0,0
visible=1
ident=59

gauge00=PSS-A320!Server, 0, 0, 1

This should drastically improve your panel performance. Thanks to Mak for discovering this interaction and Bruce for the elegant solution.

* Can not rotate and liftoff - Forum participant David notes that it takes tons of UP trim to take off. Looking at your flight surfaces ECAM screen, add UP trim to a level anywhere between -2.5 and (in my case) -5.0! Up, up, and away! I presume the amount of trim depends on your weight, altitude, and flight conditions.

* Thrust Reversers Not Working - Forum participant Paul pointed out that he saw that adding a flag to the aircraft.cfg file enables the reversers.

File: fsroot\aircraft\PSSA319\aircraft.cfg
File: fsroot\aircraft\PSSA320\aircraft.cfg
File: fsroot\aircraft\PSSA321\aircraft.cfg

Use Windows NOTEPAD, perform a "FIND" on the word "reverser". You should get ONE hit on a line...

reverser_available=0.000000

Change that to read...

reverser_available=1.000000

And you should have reverse thrust capabilities. You can stop now that you can fly!

Ich habe meine gebrannten A-32x und DASH-8 updates (hatte die damals online in ein Dummy-Verzeichniss instalieren lassen - und danach gebrannt) einfach in den FS2004 kopiert (ohne den Modules Ordner), den Patch laufen lassen - und es geht!

Keine Balken etc.

Nachdem ich in den views das Häkchen weggemacht habe konnte ich die Maus im A-32x benutzen.
Mit etwas Trimung hebt der Airbus auch ab.
Und ich habe gute frames.

Die DASH funktioniert fast perfekt.
Schlechte frames, und nach einiger Zeit konnte ich HDG und Course nur noch in 10er Schritten verstellen.
Funktionierte aber beim Start ohne Probleme.

Die grossen Airbusse scheinen ueberhaupt nicht gepatcht worden zu sein.
Es braucht immer noch zwei bis drei Flugzeugwechsel bis alle Instrumente funktionieren.
Die frames sind im Keller und die Performance ist unfliegbar.

Mal schauen, vielleicht kommt ja bald ein Patch.
