Hi miteinander!

Wer weiß was alles beim MS Small Business Server 2000 alles abgespeckt wurde? Z.B. beim Exchange Server, Sql Server usw. .... den Microsoft verkauft dieses Programm ja sicher nicht so unterm Preis, auch wenn man Ihn nur bis zu 50 Lizenzen nutzen kann. Da muss doch einfach mehr dran sein. Vieleicht hat wer ja einen Link ..... ja ich hab schon mit Google gesucht thx Roland

Die Small Business Server 2000 Komponenten unterscheiden sich in ihrer Funktionalität nicht von den bekannten BackOffice-Komponenten mit der Ausnahme, daß sie ein Small Business Server 2000 basiertes System voraussetzen, um installiert werden zu können. Folgende Einschränkungen gelten für Small Business Server 2000:
+ Der Small Business Server 2000 kann nur als Domain Controller eines Wurzelverzeichnises für einen Active Directory Verzeichnisbaum fungieren.
+ Vertrauensstellungen mit anderen Active Directory-Strukturen sind nicht möglich.
+ Am Small Business Server 2000 sind maximal 50 Client-Computer vorgesehen.
+ Clientlizenzen werden durch spezielle "License Pack Disketten" eingerichtet, die separat erworben werden können.

Are the component server applications included with Small Business Server 2000 limited in any way?
The Small Business Server 2000 component server applications are not limited compared with the individual versions, other than the fact that their usage is subject to the parameters outlined below:
* All of the component server applications in the Small Business Server 2000 suite must be installed on a single server.
* A maximum of 50 workstations can be connected to a Small Business Server 2000 network. This limits the number of workstations that can access any of the component server applications.
* Small Business Server must be set up as the root domain controller of a Microsoft Active Directory forest, which prevents Small Business Server from serving as a corporate branch office or divisional server of a larger organization with an existing Active Directory or Microsoft Windows NT® 4.0–based domain infrastructure. Moreover, trusts with other Active Directory forests are not allowed, which means that a user will not be able to set up an explicit trust (for example, in the style of Windows NT 4.0) with another domain. And Microsoft Exchange Server in Small Business Server is restricted from being part of a larger Exchange Server organization.
* Client Access Licenses (CALs) are enforced through Client Add Packs disks that must be acquired separately. The License Manager Control Panel applet is not included in Small Business Server 2000.
