Kann mir nicht helfen, doch dieses parted kann ich jetzt schon nicht ausstehen:

hallo. es gibt auch eine gui für parted: qtparted. probiers damit. schaut aus wie partition magic.

eine neuere version von parted ... welche nutzt du?
aktuell ist 1.6.6 --> http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/parted da gibts auch bootdisks.

Laut Knoppix 3.3:
ii libparted1.6-0 1.6.6-1.1 The GNU Parted disk partitioning shared library ii nparted 0.1-8 Newt and GNU Parted based disk partition table manipulator ii qtparted 0.3.2-1 A parted frontend using QT Was jetzt wie zusammengehört, weiß ich nicht (*parted*) Ich kann nur sagen, dass ich mit "parted" wie mit "qtparted" gleich weit kommen, nämlich garnet! Das mit dem updaten wird nix, da Knoppix und Bootdist is auch zum ... da Schleppi ohne FD . . . Oder kann ich die Bootdisk net auch auf CD bruzeln? MfG James

welchen kernel verwendest du wenn du parted(qtparted) startest. habs grad mit 2.6.x probiert und mit dem gehts nicht. unter 2.4.x gehts problemlos ...
da dürfte bald ein updated kommen, hoffentlich
