Hallo,

es ist schon beneidenswert, wie gut unser Markus seine Bücher kennt.
Deswegen möchte ich hier nur widerwillig noch etwas anfügen; der Einfachheit halber als Kopie (hoffentlich gibt´s keine Prügel von AI...)

"THRUST LEVERS

The thrust levers are the main interface between the Flight Management Guidance Computer, the Full Authority Digital Engine Control System (FADEC), and the flight crew.

They :

arm the autothrust at takeoff, when "FLX " or "TOGA" is selected,


limit the maximum thrust by their position when autothrust is active,


disconnect the autothrust system when the flight crew sets them to "IDLE",


command the thrust manually when autothrust is not active,


engage the common modes (takeoff or go-around) when TOGA (or "FLX" for takeoff) is set,


when positionned between IDLE and CL detent (MCT in engine out), set the autothrust to the active mode."

Autothrust wird also nach dem Anlassen der Triebwerke erst aktiviert, sobald einmal die Raste FLX oder TOGA benutzt wurde, üblicherweise natürlich um den Take-off Roll zu beginnen. Ansonsten bleibt Autothrust im Manual Mode, sonst wäre das Gasgeben zum Rollen am Boden wohl ziemlich kompliziert.
Anmerken möchte ich auch noch, dass das Autothrustsystem automatisch unterscheidet zwischen "all engines operating" und "one engine out". Im letzteren Fall erweitert sich der Autothrust Regelbereich bis auf MCT.
