Windows + Windows Media Player 10 bedeutet DRM.

WMV ist damit auch nicht mehr zu stoppen. Aber es kommt eigentlich nur auf DRM an, das dann in Windows erhalten bleibt und DRM verstösst gegen geltendes deutsches Recht. Die Privatkopie muß zugänglich bleiben.

Es geht aber um das Mieten von Musikstücken, um Pay per View für Kino- oder Fernsehfilme und natürlich um Lizenzgebühren für WMV Dateien.

Selbst iTunes ist nicht makellos. Erst mit dem pauschalen Vergüten von künstlerischen Leistungen pro Monat pro Haushalt ist die Gerechtigkeitslücke und die Problematik des 666 ("einfältige" Verabredung von Handelnden zur Ausbeutung des Einzelnen zwecks Profitmaximierung) in dieser Thematik jedenfalls geschlossen.
