You can put several connectors on a flat cable (that's the "bus" in FSBUS) - just like your IDE harddisk cable has. The modules are chained together (just see how the wires are connected together also on the COMIII card.
I think the limit is 31, which is the maximum number of CIDs minus one (which is reserved for the network functionality of fsbus) Tuomas |
