There is a problem with many commercial add-ons and cockpit-building since they use very often custom code for the aircraft systems - this can mean that you cannot get data *out* from the autopilot etc. which is the case with 767PIC etc.

Input can always be done with keyboard and mouse clicks emulation, but if you want to have the MCP display autopilot headings and such, then it can be a problem.

Just a thing you want to know beforehand and check if it is going to be an issue.

Project Magenta is a solution I guess, but it is not too cheap. Although, if I was to spend a lot on the hardware setup and building on the simulation, then it is probably the good choice since it seems to be of very high quality. Then you need several PC's too, so clearly suits better for bigger scale projects.
