Vorerst zu Deiner Theorie. Dann dürfte die Mailzustellung in gigahitz'
Falle überhaupt nicht funktionieren.

Der Name läßt sich ja auflösen.
Und ich meinte nur den ersten Absatz im geposteten Link.
Gibt es keinen MX Record, wird versucht die Mail an den Host zuzustellen.
