file000.chk sind gespeicherte verlorene cluster

das ist ein "check" file, welches von scandisk generiert wird, wenn scandisk fehler findet.

ob man die dateien wiederherstellen kann, weiß ich leider nicht...

After a hardware reset your system is likely to perform a scandisk on restart, this is to clean up any open file fragments left when you reset the machine. If you lost open files they are likely to appear as file000?.chk files in the c:\ directory. Running the application that crashed and opening these files can sometimes recover the data.
