The texture files within this zip will greatly enhance your vc rain experience. Flying the fast modern props and jets, the stock rain effect appeared to slowmotionlike to me. Therefore these files will fasten up things a bit. Speedy drops of different size have been added as well as flowing water effect, also with high speed. And because of all this water hitting the windshield, working wipers appeared to come in very handy : ) On the ground it may look slightly unrealistic as the effect starts at about 10k wind speed. But that’s how FS handle’s this. Also, depending on sun position and colour of the background, the effect may sometimes be hardly visible, but that goes for the stock textures also.
At dawn or dusk, flying through heavy rainfall or thunderstorms, you will feel really comfortable inside the cockpit with the airco well working : )
