Hi,
If i understand you correct you have PMsounds running but you dont hear anything? Pmsounds if a program on it self so you dont have to have anything running of PM to get sound working so far i know. It works here for me fine but it could be that you have a problem maybe with your soundcard... AC97 or so could show some probs if iam right but you can see more info about that on the PM site. There is also a version with lower sounds maybe you can try to use that one and see what happens then... gr. Frans M
