Hi Christof,
I am sorry i did misunderstood you than. But yes you right this is how small you can get them.. i have 2 of them here running. Basic i found this trick a while back because everyone was trying to find a solution for this problem with the screen. I did run into this by the fact that i was looking for a solution as well. The use of the psone lcd is not new but i made it new to use it also for the mcdu's. Most people did bought this lcd to use as a extra screen inside there computer on the front where normaly the cd units are. They use it as a extra information screen about temps/HD/winamp or as a extra small tv screen to watch. This brought me to the idea to see if i also could use it for the MCDU display and did talk about it with Peter Cos and have been testing it for him with the result that a lot of builders use it now. It is a cheap and simple solution even if the quality is maybe not as good as a real flatscreen but for me perfect enouch to use. (reason why those psone's are suddenly so populair now and belive me noone use them for the the real PSONE... just a pitty they are not made anymore because you can do nice things with them if you have more of them for this kind of prices.) gr.
