Vielleicht weil das die Amis verwalten, sich selbst dabei bevorzugen und wir denen nicht alles nachmachen wollen.

Oder vielleich weil unsere Regierung eh davon ausgeht nix mitreden zu können und auch nichts dagegen tut um diese Situation zu ändern.

The following entities do not currently qualify for a second-level .GOV domain:

International organizations
Commercial firms
Privately owned organizations
Military entities (except in special cases because the military typically uses .MIL domain names)
Local (e.g., city, county, township, or parish) government programs and initiatives
Cities, townships, counties, parishes, and other local entities that are not represented by an elected body of officials
