Hi!

Pretty cool idea!

We used bicycle brake cable a LOT in our sim (www.mik.fi/simulaattori/) - one just needs springs to pull off the slack of the cable, since it cannot be "pushed". But it works great too. Very very much better than putting the pots at the pedals where you get all the dust and sand and such - they work much better when we have them against the firewall.

Another good idea is to put them all inside a plastic transparent "candy box" - drill holes on the side for the cables, mount them inside and shut off the lid. Protects them from dust and from accidental poking etc..
