![]() Hi,
these numbers from 10000-10100 are Windows Socket Error Numbers. The meaning is documented by Microsoft docs. The Broadcast address, which you specify in the router menu is the important thing. You need to define an ip address, which specifies the destination(s). An ip address is split into 2 parts, a network part, and a host part. To address all hosts in your local network, set the host part to 255. To address your local network, set the network part according to your tcp-ip configuration. Things are a bit more complicated, because there are network classes. Here is not the place to explain in depth, instead i'll show you two examples. If your pc has defined an IP: 56.3.4.5 set broadcast to 56.255.255.255. If your pc has defined an IP: 192.168.4.5 set broadcast to 192.168.4.255 . Good luck Dirk |
