Kirves ldapd 0.21

ABOUT

This is an early snap-shot of the LDAP server-part of the Kirves project.

First goal was to get it working OK with Netscape Communicator 4.0x
It now, at least most of the time.
Linux/Communicator is not a buggy platform, so the preformance is
flakey.

There are some SSL-code in-there which is not enabled
because it does not work yet. (Feel free to experiment).

The server uses threads when available, but has to use a
semaphore when accessing the database, therefore forking
is probably faster right now.

NEEDS

perl modules:
PgSQL (or DBI + DBD::Pg)
Net::LDAP
Convert::BER

INSTALL

perl Makefile.PL
make
./pldapd.pl
