Ich habe bei AVSIM festgestellt, daß die neuesten Downloads vom
21.5.2005 kommen!! Kann das denn sein, daß sich seiher nichts getan
hat? Vorher waren jeden Tag mindestens 20 News.
Kann sich das jemand von euch erklären?

Hi Chrisi,

"AVSIM has experienced a hardware problem on one of its servers, that yesterday forced us to turn off the Forum and Library services. A disk in the server which provided those services is showing signs of corruption, and in order to preserve data integrity we unmounted the disk and disabled the affected services.

In order to recover the Library as soon as possible, we have taken the decision to move to our new Library server, which is now online. Uploads will be unavailable until further notice, and we ask for your indulgence and patience while using the new Library in its current state, since we are very much aware that the new system will have a few 'rough edges', despite our best intentions"

Denke mal, das hat was mit dem vorzeitigen Umzug auf den neuen library Server zu tun. Den wollen die jetzt erst mal mit reduziertem Volumen laufen lassen und sehen wie's läuft. Könnte also was damit zu tun haben... .
