startx fehler meldung

ok ich hab jetzt wieder einmal linux aufgesetzt aber mit gnome .
und dann bin ich in der eingabeaufforderung (terminal , shell ) und log mich ein und gib startx ein damit ich in den kde komme . Nur dann kommt die Meldung

"There is no link /var/X11R6/bin/x to /usr/X11R6/bin/XF86_XXXX which is the binary of the installed X-Server. Please link the files as mentioned above or install the X-server and run xf86config again. "

1. wieso komm ich net in die grafischeoberfläche ?
2. Wie kann ich das linken , damit der befehl startx ausgeführt wird.
3. Wieso kann linux mich nicht leiden
