Hier ein kurzes Follow-Up - ich habe gerade den Programmierer gefragt, der die Installation programmiert hat

There is certainly no problem with CD Writers specifically. I only have DVD and CDWriters on my machines and have never had any problems.
Does it give a message when aborting? If it just disappears when it reaches the Validating stage then it could be something about the hardware. If it gives my "Invalid CD detected" message then the validation process has failed. This could be because it is a pirate copy or it could be a virus-checker interfering with the Safedisc decryption. The last possiblity is a damaged CD.

Auch der Tech Support hat bisher von keinen derartigen Fällen gehört.
Zwei Lösungen gäbe es also:
- Schau dir bitte mal CD und Laufwerk an, ob beide in Ordnung sind
- Schalte eventuelle Virenprüfer im Hintergrund ab
