mysql 4.1.16

hi,

ich wollte mir gerade mysql 4.1.16 installieren.
gesagt getan.
configure rennt, make und make install auch.
gehe dann ins bin verzeichnis und rufe "mysql_install_db" auf und dann kommt:
Installing all prepared tables
Fill help tables
ERROR: 1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1

weiss jemand warum?
