cisco ACL ->parameter eq und log bzw. update-log

ich bin ein bisschen verwirrt weil in meinem buch steht was anderes und wenn das log nur als match angezeigt wird ists eigentlich eher sinnlos besonders bei einem acl-range-statement. dachte eher an eine anzeige wie: source-ip, etc.

also in meinem buch steht folgendes:

log (optional) causes an informational loggging message about the packet that mactches entry to be sent to the console. (the level of messages logged to the console is controlled by logging console command.)

(so und jetzt kommts)
the message includes the access list number, whether the packet was permitted or denied; the protocol, whether it was TCP, UDP, ICMP, or a number; and, if appropiate, the source and destination addresses and source and destination port numbers. by default, the message is generated for the first packet that matches and then at five-minute intervals, including the number of packets permitted or denied in the previous five-minute interval.

use the ip access-list log-update command to generate logging messages when the number of matches reaches a configurable threshold(instead of waiting for a five-minuten intervall.) see the ip access-list log-update command for more information.

und es gibt leider keine syntaxbeispiele und ergebnisbeispiele dazu.
