HDD händisch eingegeben.. funkt noch imma nicht!

schau mal nach ob das ide kabel am motherboard richtig bzw. fest genug steckt und falls nötig ein anderes ausprobieren, maybe ist es ja defekt.

hab jez auch eine 100%ig funktionierende HDD angeschlossn... er erkennts nicht!

auch wenn ich einen zusätzlichn controller einbau gehts nicht..
naja.. mainboard hin.. SCHEIßKISTN RAUSHAUN!!!! will nimma!

ähm, du redest nur von primary... wie schauts aus, kanns sein, dass du die hdd am secondary ide angeschlossen hast? und dieser im bios deaktiviert ist?

hargenau das gleiche problem habe ich auch.
ich zuck auch gleich aus.

und ich weiss nicht einmal wie ich ins BIOS vom controller reinkomme.
ist so ein scheiss Titan ATA-133.
auf der HP steht a nix.

im bios alle controller aktiviert? zur not load best performance settings oder load optimal settings probieren - oder bios ganz zurücksetzen (wurde aber glaub ich schon erwähnt)

Ins Bios dürftest da überhaupt nicht reinkommen. Da steht was von auto und best performance.

Aber wennst den Treiber installierst sollte da was zu verstellen sein.

Linux:

There is a new driver for our PCI-series available for download. This driver requires the Kernel version 2.2, it is optimized for the SUSE-Distribution.
In the older Kernel version 2.0 the PCI cards are configured with our tool VSCARDCFG. Just run it, it will establish all necessary settings.
To install ISA-cards, there is a prepared documentation, describing the manual installation of serial ports.

Windows 2000:
The drivers are available in the download area. Known problems:

The PCI boards have two possible speed settings. Installation always assumes high speed. I.e. the maximum baudrate is 921.600bps. Sometimes this is not the real configuration of the board. But for ease of installation the driver does not check the speed while installing.
Please use the "Check" button in the "Advanced" panel of the serial card.
When uninstalling the system sometimes hangs. VS is working on this problem.

P.S. Bin mir jetzt aber nicht sicher was dich betrifft. Weiss nicht genau welche Karte du hast.
