.wav mit a-law konvertieren

Hallo,

Ich muss eine bestehende .wav Datei für unsere Telefonanlage in ein .wav 8bit mit a-law speichern, nur finde ich kein Programm welches gratis ist und das kann.
Wer kennt eines mit welchen ich das .wav konvertieren kann?

If you look in the File Formats tab of Audacity Preferences (version 1.2.6) at the
"uncompressed export format" dropdown, there are 8 bit PCM (i.e. linear
encoding) options for WAV and AIFF. If you click "Other" in this list you will be
able to select U-Law or A-Law (i.e. logarithmic) encoding with a number of headers.
If say 8000 Hz is required as the sample rate this has to be set with the Project
Rate button bottom left of the Audacity screen. A few users have found phones
can have problems with U-Law or A-Law WAV files created by Audacity, if so
Windows Sound Recorder (if you are on Windows) can convert PCM WAV files
to CCITT U-Law and A-Law WAV files.
