New fsbus DIO and potmeters

Hi

I wonna connect a 100 k lin. potmeter to the J3 connector of the new I/O board.

Can somebody tell me where to connect the slider of the potmeter?

Hi Jan,

as far as I know, you can only use 4k7 potentiometer - I don't think it will work with 100k's, but I can't tell for sure....

Anyway, if you turn the DIO-Port so, that the 10pin connector of the FSBUS-Cable is top right (soldering side facing down), the sliders are connected to the left pins ("input") of J3. The others are +2,5V (in the middle) and GND (on the right) - these are connected to the two ends of the potmeter.

Hi Jan,

the manual says: 10k (RTFM)

that is a recommendation. You may study the original ATMEL doc or try out other pots. I think, 100k will work also.

Dann muss ich wohl einen Fehler melden... auf seite 24 steht (zumindest bei mir =)) 4,7kOhm....

Nur weiter oben steht 10k....

Hi,

I did RTFM , but I couldn't find out how to connect.
I connect a 4K7 and also a 100K potmeter and they work both.

The potmeters work fine in fsadmin, but not in fsbus router.
Connected a 4k7 potmeter to J3 and the value change from 0 to 220 in fsadmin.Push the add button and close fsadmin.

When setup the potmeter as DI analog the value change from +36 via minus to -89????????????

Is the intreface for the di analog right?
It seems more to add a switch instead of a potmeter.
i'm using 2.4.1.1 of the fsbus software.
