ipchains und iptables
hallo,
ich benutze suse linux 7.1 mit kernel 2.2 und hab noch ein älteres suse linux 6.4 herum liegen . Nur ich will mir man eine firewall auf meinem rechner "basteln" ( bitte keine kommentare wie,windows user lass das lieber  ) . Und suse linux 6.4 hat keine ipchains und iptables aber suse linux 7.1 hat das schon . Jetzt stellt sich mir die frage was sind ipchains und iptables . Oder für was kann/muss man die verwenden oder werden verwendet.
