Freddy Vs. Jason Starting September 9th

Columnists Marilyn Beck and Stacy Jenel Smith report that New Line Cinema & Avery Pictures have set a September 9 production start for Freddy Vs. Jason. Yep, you'll get to see the two battle it out on the big screen, no holds barred.

The slasher vs. slasher venture, which is set to lens in Toronto and Vancouver, is carrying the tagline, attached to casting notices, of - "Forget Godzilla vs. King Kong - this is the horror clash of them all!"

The story apparently has to do with a handful of hapless teen-agers who have the grave misfortune of getting caught up in the middle of the battle between the fiends.
