			 Hi,

I add the third fskey card (CID 3 )to my fsbus system. But there is a problem: No problems with separate switches, but when I add a 12-stage rotary then strange things happens.Turning the rotary, for changing the nav1 freq.,sets the spoilers to 100%, flaps goes down,N1 increase. No matter on what RID I connect the rotary. Chanched the rotary for another, same problem occurs. Any idea what can cause this? Bets regards Jan Geurtsen |

			 Hi Jan,

did you wire the 12 stage rotary as rotary? Also the Switch type should be selected for 12 stage rotary. Can´t think of any thing else causing such strange effect. Hope it helps. BTW: I, myself never used the 12 stage rotaries, but the Alps (same system like Knitter but metal construction) and no problem. Luckily I found a source here in Munich, a kind of surplus shop, where you can get those rotaries incl. a push in switch for about 1 € each. They are small and work like a charme. Best rgds Peter

			 Hi Peter,

Thanks for the answer, yes I checked that. The setup is good but the problem exist. About the Alps, are you using them separate or as a dual concentric? Is it posible to buy 10 Alps for me and send them to Holland? Best regards Jan Geurtsen |

			 Hi Jan,

both, the Alps as well as Knitter have a too thin shaft (4mm)to use them as dual concentric. I done it with 2 knitters using a 90 degree gear made out of 2 tooth wheels. So both rotaries are 90 degrees mechanically shifted. Of course could get you ten of and send them to Holland. Will try to get downtown tomorrow to buy ´em. Just let me know where to ship. Best rgds Peter

			 Thanks Peter,

Do you have a picture of it. Is it possible to connect the Alps direct to the key board? Send me your e-mail address, please. Best regards Jan Geurtsen. |

			 Hi Jan,

here´s the picture. Yes, you can directly connect it to the keyboard or FSBus etc. It works like 2 turn dependant switches. Plus the push in switch on the shaft. Check your pm for my e-mail address. Best rgds Peter
