Standard Transponder Solution?

How can i reach with a key(button)push, FSUIPC without using a offset in the ini file of fsbus.ini, same idea if i would hit a button on my joystick it will show up in the FSUIPC display under tab button.

with other words how can i if i push a key in the fs_key see again in my FSUIPC screen in FS2004 by the TAB key/button?

I know you can assign with the offset 3110 a action but how do i put that into a line like fsbus.ini use?

"XPONDR", 24, 4, 0x0354, I16, 0,RW+, 10,1,1, with this option you only can activate all 4 digs what is useless because you turn like hell to go from 1234 to 7621 for instance...

I talked to Pete Dowson and he have found a solution for this but how are we going to put that into the fsbus router ini file?

1054 Xpndr low NN dec
1055 Xpndr low NN inc
1056 Xpndr high NN dec
1057 Xpndr high NN inc

With this codes you can use 2 roteries , one for the left 2 digs and one for the right 2 digs and by turning it left it will go up and turning it right it will go down.

so it have to look like ..... 4, 0x3110, ect.????

Dirkan maybe you can help us out in this???

gr.

Hallo Frans'

Is it working?
I,m planning to build my radio stack now, so I hope I can use your solution for the transponder.

That 1054 etc. is that the FSUIPC offset?

Hope to hear from you.

Regards

Jan

Hello Jan,

NO that is not a OFFSET that is just the problem... So that is why i put it here so i hope anyone can tell me how we can program a button/switch direct to FSUIPC because it is a special code in there dropdown list...

But it seems a bit here that if i ask a question lot of ppl look but noone seems to answer any of them.

I also have try to see if i could reach dirk because i assum he knows how we can deal with that ini file but also in that not much luck yet....

If we just know the correct code to connect to fscuip the problem will be solved for everyone and they can use the transponder with 2 roteries as most padels now use...

So will have to wait until someone will tell us how.... and iam sorry i cant write it in german so i hope this is enouch to get things going...

The address is on the site of fsbus.

What's 1054 if it isn't a offset?

Hello Jan,

I did send dirk already a couple of emails about div questions i never got any response back... and it seems if you look in the forum also the things i put there it always seems to stay quite, lot see the msg but after almost each BWR014 question there is standing 0.... starts to wonder about it if my tribute on this forum is maybe not interesting enouch or just because i dont write them in german... but ok who knows those that are interested maybe will reply on my things so i dont have the feeling i put things there for noone...

ABout your question the 1054 isnt a offset but a keysent to fsuipc if iam right the offset to do that is 3110 but i am stuck on that part because i dont know how i can continue in that. But iam sure i will find a solution somehow we close to succes but just need the last step to get it

Lets see who is going to help us out ...

Hallo Frans,

Did you tried this?
Look at the pictures.
You can turn with one rotary to the transpondercode nearly and fine tune to the exact code with the other rotary.
Not THE solution but better than nothing.
