Wer hat Erfahrung mit Israel Szenerien ?

Hallo,

wer ist schon über Israel geflogen mit runtergeladenen oder anderen Add-ons für FS2004 ?

Ich bräuchte Tipps zu mesh Israel und guten Addon-Szenerien.

Tja für Tel Aviv LLBG gibts glaube ich noch immer nichts. Aber dafür gibt es eine sehr schöne frameratefreundliche Szenerie mit Fotountergrund von der Stadt Tel Aviv (wahrscheinlich bei Avsim) Eilat hab ich auch noch installiert. Kannste ja alles selber suchen.

hast Du Erfahrungen mit Israel90m srtm Mesh ?

Ich füge Dir mal eine Hardcopy davon unten ein. Damit soll man spitze Details sehen können.

Ich habe mir dies mesh von amsim runtergeladen und bei addon-scenery einen Unterordner angelegt.

Ich weiß nicht, ob das alles war, was ich machen musste ?

Ob ich evtl. ein anderes Mesh deinstallieren muss (ich hatte aber bisher noch kein anderes von israel drauf) ?

Ich bin jetzt am Experimentieren, ob ich so das Beste von Israel an Szenerie herausbekomme.

The Negev Desert can finally show off its fascinating topography which includes, among others, the Small Crater and Ramon Crater whose features are clearly visible from space. There are many canyons, ravines, dry streams and other dramatic ground landscapes which can make a Negev Desert VFR Expedition quite exciting.

The trip will end at Eilat. Now you can see this well known touristic resort, bordered on the West and East by the tall and rugged mountains which have been among its more typical features

About the project

On April, NASA finally released the SRTM data for Africa which among other countries, it also covers Israel. The SRTM worldwide resolution was set to 90m - downsampled from the raw accuracy of 30m. The NASA SRTM project provides is the most accurate public, non-classified topographic data.

The raw data however contains many artifacts mainly due to ground scatter by large bodies of water and large artificial objects, cloud coverage and detail "shading" by large features.

Despite all these - using sophisticated interpolation methods and occasional manual intervention - it was possible to extract an extremely accurate mesh for Israel which will make the CVFR flight in the region so much more enjoyable.
