Wie kann man die CRC Prüfung deaktivieren??

Hab grad probiert 3-4 verschiedene Spiele die ich endlich mal durchspielen wollte wieder zu installieren und überall tritt der Fehler auf.

Habs am 2.ten Rechner probiert auch win2k oben funkt ohne probs nur der Rechner ist ne lahme Krücke.

Will nicht frisch aufsetzen (nicht schon wieder).

Laut windows hilfe sind da angeblich verstümmelte zeichen vorhanden dem is aber net so da alles am 2.ten pc rennt, nur halt zu langsam ;(

Solution 1: try disabling DMA on Your CD-ROM drives. This is how you do it. Go to the Start button, Settings, and Control Panel. Double-click the System icon and, in the System Properties dialog box, select the Device Manager tab. Click the plus sign next to the CD-Rom icon and then double-click the icon for your CD-Rom. Next, click the Settings tab and deselect the DMA check box in the Options panel. Click OK twice. If this does not work than during the install when you receive the CRC errors write down the names of the files that have CRC errors and click on ignore in the error message. After the install finishes patch the game. Then copy over the files that had a CRC error to where ever they belong in the game folder on the hard drive.

Max Paine wollt ich auch installieren, da kommt die FM: beim Install Shield.

Bei RTCW kommt die FM bei 86% (Installation)

Am 2.ten Rechner funkt alles ohne prob auch win2k.

hast du mal Treiber geupdatet (4in1 oder sowas) CRC Fehlrt kommen vom Controller oder vom eigentlichen Lw oder von falschen treibern(bei VIA langt es einaml beim installen Falsch zu klicken und dann muß da genix mehr gehen)
