Speicher für Nokia 6680

hallo liebe foristen!

ich möchte mir für mein 6680 eine speicherkarte von kingston kaufen und hätte da eine frage an euch:
was ist der unterschied zw. MMCplus, MMC-mobile und RS-MMC? welche würdet ihr empfehlen?
oder passen andere auch?

falls es wichtig ist: ich benötige es für das speichern vom navigationsprogramm!

Das 6680 hat einen RS-MMC-Slot.

MultiMediaCards, like SD cards, are one of the smallest Flash cards available, about
the size of a postage stamp. They were introduced in 1997 and initially used in the
mobile phone and pager markets. Today, they are commonly used in digital cameras,
mobile phones, and MP3 players. MMC cards are generally backward-compatible with
SD cards (so they can be plugged into SD slots) if the SD card’s copy protection
management features are not required by the host device. The MultiMediaCard

specifications for MMC.
In addition, MMC cards come in smaller form factors, originally called RS-MMC

original MMC specification was recently updated from 3.x to 4.x. The new 4.x MMC
cards are called MMCplus (replaces older MMC) and MMCmobile (replaces older RSMMC
DV).
The newer version of MMC cards launched in 2005 by the MultiMedia Card
Association supports revision 4.x of the specification and is backward-compatible with
the older MMC 3.x and RS-MMC 3.x cards (now discontinued).
MMCplus and MMCmobile cards offer higher performance than older MMC cards, and
MMCmobile cards support lower voltage applications to reduce power consumption
in cell phones. Kingston has discontinued the older MMC and MMC-RS 3.x cards and
only offers the newer, backward-compatible MMCplus and MMCmobile cards. A new,
thumbnail-sized MMC card, called MMCmicro, is expected in early 2006.

Hinweis: Das Gerät verwendet eine Kleine MMC-Speicherkarte (Reduced Size MultiMediaCard, RS-MMC) mit Dual-Betriebsspannung (Dual Voltage 1,8/3,0V). Verwenden Sie ausschließlich Dual Voltage MMC-Karten, um Kompatibilität zu gewährleisten. Informationen zur Kompatibilität einer MMC-Karte erhalten Sie vom Hersteller oder Anbieter.

Die 512er und 1024er-Karten von Sandisk unterstützen dein Telefon nicht.

Lt. Kingston Website unterstützt das Nokia 6680 nur Karten bis 512MB und auch nur mit neuester Firmware.

aber wo liest du "...auch nur mit neuester Firmware"?
ich habe mein 6680 seit anfang dez., das mpsst noch neu genug sein oder?

so blöde das die normalen mmc oder sd karten nicht passen ;-(

und wieder ein neues format...
für was die so eine karte mit dem adapter machen kann ich auch nicht nachvollziehen...

Stimmt - Neuere und nicht neueste!

Ich find' die Einführung der Karten logisch - kleinere Karten bedeuten kleinere Endgeräte oder mehr Platz für andere Features im Gehäuse.
Und mit dem Adapter können sie auch von Geräten gelesen werden, die älter sind als der neue Kartenstandard (Cardreader etc.)

ihr habt hier ja sehr hilfreich geantwortet,deswegen frag ich einfach auch mal

ich hab n nokia 3230,und brauch dafür ne neue speicherkarte.drin hab ich ne 32mb karte,was natürlich viel zu klein is^^

es is ne mmc, aber ich weiß jetzt nich obs ne rs oder mobile is,da des net draufsteht&ich net weiß wie ich des rauskriegen könnte^^

wär cool,wenn ihr mir irgendwie sagen könntet was da denn jetzt drin is&mit was mein handy kompatibel ist.könnt auch nen link posten,dann schau ich selbst

aber so weiß ich jetzt nich wirklich wo ich da gucken soll
