Linux auf USB Stick installation

Hab ich gerade zuällig gefunden: Flash Linux.

It's a customised Linux distribution designed to be run directly off a USB key or other (similar) forms of bootable flash memory. It should work within the contraints of 256Mb of (flash) memory although larger devices may also be used.

Flash Linux is based on Gentoo Linux and new versions / bugfixes should track the stable Gentoo tree. Whereas Gentoo is a source distribution, this is a binary only distribution.

Scheinbar ist auch OpenOffice enthalten, zumindest wird es in den FAQ erwähnt:

I can't find a text editor anywhere, is there one ?

Apart from using OpenOffice writer, not at present. (to save space) We're looking at including "gedit" (or something else?) in the next release, feedback would be appreciated. ("nano" is included in 0.3.2)
