But for those of you in a rush to complete the tutorials and not wanting to wait for the patch here's a Manual method

#1 open the dash 8 Aircraft.cfg in Notepad and locate the section listed below

#2 In the first line of this code you will see the following entry

#3 change the item in bold Currently 3000 to read 1500 so that the line looks like this

point.0=1, 32.00, 0.00, -5.8, 1500, 0, 1.000, 55.0, 0.3, 1.5, 0.2, 4.8, 4.8, 0, 0.0, 170.0

#4 SAVE the cfg and reload flightsim ...
