Hi bussers,
I was wondering if it's posible to make a "real" B737 NG FMC, with knobs, like the one who you can buy at Flightdeck solution for example? Regards Jan. |

Hi Jan,
sure it is possible with the appropriate tools and machinery - but honestly, i do believe that FDS offers great value for the money that the FMC costs... The electronic part can easily be solved with the FSKEY - i do not see any problem there. cheers Mathias |

Hi Mathias,
That was what i mean, buy the hardware (FMC) and use fsbus for the electronics. Do you have experience with it? Regards Jan. |

Hi Jan,
yes, that is what i have done - the FDS hardware, FSBUS electronics and Projectmagenta FMC software - i am still looking for a suitable TFT - but the results are very awesome. The trouble is that the FMC is so damned small - and there are so many switches and cables - i think its nearly impossible to think about doing that on your own ... cheers Mathias |
