Thank you Tom for your kind words and wishes. I thought that a helicopter trip into the mountains was a perfect place to propose…if she said no it was a very LONG walk back to civilization! Jennifer and I would welcome anyone who will be in the Kootenay BC area on July 1st to stop by and enjoy the festivities. It looks like I may have 407 there so we can even do some flying.
Tonight we are locking the code on Fly!II and next week it will be going gold master in order to meet the date that has been mandated by Take 2 Interactive. I want to thank each and every one of you that has taken the time to send us your comments, support and criticism...we do listen, and we will act on as much as we possibly can.

I wish that I could say to you that this product will be everything for everyone but it will not. Having lost our lead programmer, my fellow co-producer, and most importantly friend Rich for the later half of this project the team has had to step up the intensity, come together and work many long hours away from our families and loved ones to deliver the best that we could in the time provided to us. I hope this explains our disappearance from this forum in the past few weeks but we are back.

With out your support there would not have been a Fly!II and we will not forget that. It is because of the support of people like Jak Fearon, Todd Klaus, Rob Young, Tom Allensworth and the rest of this community that this night was even possible and help keep the drive in us all. Neal Hall will be spending another night in his office tonight making final changes and tweaks not because he has been asked to but because he will know he has done all he can...he will not be alone.

Rich is taking some well-deserved time with his family and getting away from the fury of release before returning to us ready to get healthy and help plan the future development of this product. He wanted me to pass on to you his thanks for all of the support on this special night.
