ActiveSky 2004 released!

Hallo,

WideFS User sollten mal ins ActiveSky Forum blicken, denn da hat sich ein kleiner Fehler eingeschlichen....

Problem gelöst: Für alle WideFS Benutzer gibt es jetzt ein kleines Connector Tool!

(Achtung! Das ist wirklich nur für WideFS Benutzer!!!!)

The Connector needs to be run on the FS PC, not the wideFS PC. Also, You should not install AS2004 on the FS PC. Please uninstall all. Then Follow the install instructions:

1) Install AS2004 on the WIDEFS PC directly, FROM the WideFS PC on a local drive i.e. C:\(InstallDir). You should now have, in (InstallDir), Chilkat.zip and Modules folder.
2) Switch to the FS PC. Map Z: to the ROOT drive of C: on the WideFS PC (or whatever drive it happens to be on)
3) Now through windows explorer, on the FS PC, Browse to Z:\(InstallDir)\Modules\ActiveSky2004. Run the ActiveRadarConnector2.exe program here.

Bei ActiveSky 1.9. waren diese "smoothing weather enhancements" auch schon für FS2004 als Feature angekündigt. Das Resultat war dann leider unbrauchbar.

Vor jedem Start von AS2004:

FSUIPC Einstellungen: Clear all weather - minimum weather defaults


Wind smoothing: Off (unbedingt ausschalten, sonst kommen FSUIPC und AS2004 in einen Konflikt! und der bewirkt genau das Gegenteil!)
Pressure smoothing: On
Turb and icing: Off

AS2004 Einstellungen:

Global Area Writess: Off
Rout-based Wind Smoothing: On
Bei TAF Processing unbedingt auf die richtige FS/system Zeit achten, sondt stimmt das nicht!


Ein erstes Update ist schon für Januar angekündigt!
